On behalf of the students of the Faculty of Tourism, an informational meeting was held by Şevket Koçak, Rixos Hotels Group Director of Housekeeping and Laundry, and Sümeyra Babacan, Xanadu Island Executive Housekeeper and Barut Hotel Kemer Housekeeping department staff.
During the meeting organized at our faculty, comprehensive information was provided to students about the importance of housekeeping and laundry departments in hotel operations, career opportunities, professional development processes, and the expected qualifications in the sector. Participants contributed to the students' career planning by sharing their experiences regarding current practices in the sector and professional work life.
The meeting, which was closely followed by students, concluded after the question-and-answer session. The event significantly contributed to students' ability to communicate one-on-one with industry professionals and develop their professional perspectives.
